New Imray applications for Apple iPhones

We have launched the first of a series of applications to run on the Apple iPhone providing quick reference information for sailing crews.


Now available:
Marine Rules and Signals: topics include
buoyage, motor and sailing lights and shapes, rules of the road, safety and life saving signals.

Tides Planner: worldwide predictions and a wealth of tide and depth planning tools. Available now from the iTunes App store.

Coming soon:
Navigation Theory: Chart Symbols, Compass (variation/deviation), Tides (graphs, standard ports, secondary ports), Tidal Streams, Course planning and position (DR, EP, course to steer), GPS assisted navigation and waypoints.

Other Apps are in the pipeline and will cover topics ranging from meteorology to first aid and racing rules.

Following this launch, we plan to offer a full chart navigation program for the iPhone, all based on the successful Imray Digital Chart system, which also runs on PC computers.
