Imray pilot books are the definitive reference to the coasts that they cover. They provide sailing directions for cruising areas worldwide.
The attention to detail and high standard of production is unrivalled and is the result of our successful long term partnerships with some of the best sailing authors.
Amongst the well known names are Tom Cunliffe, Peter Cumberlidge, Rod and Lu Heikell and Dag Pike. We have close relationships with several cruising clubs, including the Cruising Association, the Clyde Cruising Club and the Royal Cruising Club Pilotage Foundation whose books cover both near and distant waters. DM Street Jr compiles our Imray-Iolaire series of charts for the Caribbean.
Our list includes a series of maps and guides to the inland waterways of the British Isles and Europe, including a series produced with the support of the Inland Waterways Association.
A handful of important titles cover various topics including navigation. Norie’s Nautical Tables has been our best seller for over 200 years.
As well as Imray titles, we supply the full range of Admiralty publications including sailing directions, lists of lights, radio publications, tidal stream atlases and tide tables.
We stock a good selection of general titles from other publishers including The Royal Yachting Association, Adlard Coles Nautical and Wiley Nautical, and from the US, Seaworthy Publications, Cruising Guide Publications, Celestaire and Charlie's Charts.
As well as Imray waterway maps and guides we stock various maps covering European waterways from companies including Euromapping, Cartes Guides Fluviacarte, Editions du Briel, ANWB (for the Netherlands) and Pearsons Canal Companions for England.
