Online sales - postage costs
We use Royal Mail, DPD and DHL to deliver throughout the UK, Europe, USA and the Rest of the World.
Delivery charges are based on the service used and the value of the shopping cart.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING charges DO NOT include import duties and local taxes. The delivery services we use will contact you prior to delivery to collect any taxes due prior to delivery, after the shipment arrives in the country of destination.
Shipping to United Kingdom
We offer free UK shipping on orders over £60 in the UK.
For orders under £60 we charge £4.90 towards the cost of shipping.
All orders are expedited using an express courier service where possible, but we recommend allowing 5-7 working days for UK delivery.
If you need your order urgently, please contact us and we might be able to arrange for a faster service subject to additional costs.
Shipping to Europe Zone 1
We charge £19.95 towards the cost of shipping. The same tracked, express courier service is used for all shipping in this zone.
Shipping will be applied based on the destination country.

Shipping to Europe Zone 2
For countries in this zone, we charge a variable fee starting at £24.50 towards the cost of shipping. We use a tracked express courier service for shipping into this zone.
Shipping will be applied based on the destination country.

Shipping to World Zone 1
For countries in this zone we charge a variable fee starting at £44 towards the cost of shipping. We use a tracked, express, courier service for shipping into this zone. Countries in this zone include USA and Canada, Middle East, Africa and South America. The shipping cost will be applied at checkout.

For countries in this zone we charge £89 towards the cost of shipping. We use a tracked, express, courier service for shipping into this zone. Countries in this zone include Australia, New Zealand and Japan. The shipping cost will be applied at checkout.

VAT and local taxes
There is no VAT payable on most books and charts. If the delivery address of the goods is in the UK or another member country of the European Union, VAT is payable on all other items, such as software, videos, equipment and electronics. The prices quoted for these items on our product pages are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Therefore if the delivery address of the goods is located outside the European Union the VAT element (20%) of the prices for the relevant goods is automatically deducted and displayed in the shopping basket total.
Other charges added to orders
Apart from the VAT (if applicable - see above) and delivery charges, no other charges will be applied to your order by Imray. Please be aware that if the delivery address of the goods is outside the UK, it may be that import duties or other taxes are applied by national or regional authorities. You are responsible for any such additional charges and taxes.
Cancelling or returning your order
Our cancellation and returns procedure is set out in our terms and conditions of sale. If you would like to cancel or return your order please contact us by email at sales@imray.com. If you have already received your order and want to return it, please send it back to us with a completed Returns Form. There will be a delay in processing any returned orders we receive without this form.
